Oaks Visit Framlingham Castle

Oaks Class visited Framlingham Castle to support their learning about history. The children explored the high curtain walls and walked along the top, taking in views of the surrounding countryside. They looked at the castle’s defensive features and discussed how these were used to protect those inside. Inside the castle, they learned about its past residents, including Mary Tudor, and examined historical artifacts that gave them an insight into life in medieval times. It was a valuable trip that helped bring their history topic to life.
