PTA (Friends of the School)

What do we do?

We are the fundraising committee for the school.  We consist of a group of parents who meet on a regular basis to discuss ideas and plan events.   We have great backing from the school staff.

How do we do it?

We have a yearly schedule of events that can include events such as the summer fête, discos and film evenings.  We are always looking for new ideas for raising money whilst adding a social element to school life.

What do we do with the money?

We help towards the funding of bigger projects like the outside canopy and individual classroom purchases and smaller class based resources and activities. We also help to subsidise trips.

Benhall St Mary's Primary School is a great place for your children's primary years.  Benhall PTA simply want to enhance their primary school experience by giving them those extra special resources and memories. 

How can you get involved?

For the bigger events we need a small army of people to help out with stalls and setting up etc.  However, we appreciate time is precious especially when trying to manage family and work life.  If you can’t bake cakes but can donate raffle prizes then that’s brilliant.  If you join the committee but can’t make all the meetings then that’s no problem.  If bingo isn’t your thing then not to worry, but bring the whole family to the summer fête!
