Benhall joins All Saints Schools Trust

The All Saints Schools Trust are delighted to be working with Benhall St Mary’s Primary School and look forward to the school becoming an academy and joining the Trust. We are hoping that this will officially happen in September in time for the new academic year, but in the meantime our Director of the East Dr Parslow-Williams is providing leadership to the school in the role of Executive Headteacher. He is enjoying his role greatly so far and we thank staff, Governors and the wonderful children for making him so welcome.

Can we give special thanks to Benhall St Mary’s Chair of Governors Dr Roland Edwards for helping to make the conversion happen. Dr Edwards has worked tirelessly to ensure the school was able to secure its future and could join the Trust.

We have really enjoyed working with the school’s Governors, Staff, Parents and Pupils over the Spring Term and we are delighted to have already planned some great events to enhance the pupil’s learning.

The school is looking fabulous with a special community art project (see photos), internal decoration, new flooring throughout the corridors and of course the smart new re-thatched roof!

Benhall will benefit from enhanced provisions from joining the All Saints Schools Trust. The staff are benefitting from training with other schools from across the Trust. Pupils will have increased opportunities including school visits with other Trust schools.

Overall Benhall now belongs to a wider, supportive Trust community and it will be very well looked after. We know Dr Edwards, the Governors and the school staffing team will continue to strive for the best provision for our pupils. They will be greatly supported by the All Saints Schools Trust and there is a strong infrastructure of support behind the school.

Benhall has a very bright future and on behalf of All Saints Schools Trust I would just like to say how delighted we are to welcome the school and you the community to be part of this.
